Ali Hossein Amini, in an interview with a Mehr News Agency reporter, stated that Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari has long been the origin of various pine cultivations. He expressed that: Counties of Farsan, Kiar, and Shahr-e Kord have significant pine farms. He pointed out that the noticeable decrease in water resources, water scarcity, reduced precipitation, and climate change in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari have led to a shift in precipitation from snow to rain and an increase in erosion. This indicates the necessity of developing vegetation cover.
